Corporate

Corporate and industry scholarships

Funded by state-owned enterprises, technology companies and industry bodies at partner universities, usually as a top-up: an allowance, an internship or a one-off prize on top of a university award. Modest in size, but often exactly the gap between a full award and self-funding.

The programme profiles below are currently written in English. Interface labels are translated.

How to apply

  1. 1

    Watch faculty notices

Corporate awards are announced by the faculty or the international office, not on the university homepage.

  2. 2

    Apply with a CV

Transcript, CV and a one-page motivation note; some rounds are conducted in Chinese.

  3. 3

    Interview with the sponsor

Online or on campus, testing subject knowledge and Chinese communication.

  4. 4

    Read the funding agreement

Some carry an internship or post-graduation service clause — check before signing.

Deadline and timing

Mostly assessed in autumn (September–November), occasionally in spring; faculty notices govern.

Campus China’s corporate page carries no public list, and the real information lives with each university’s international office. Asking “are there any company-sponsored awards?” is far more effective than searching for a catalogue.
