Before applying, verify the institution on three separate lists. First, the Ministry of Education list of recognised Chinese higher education institutions — over 1,000 institutions enrol international students, but only those on this list award recognised degrees. Second, if you are applying for a Chinese Government Scholarship, the CSC list of around 300 designated host universities, since applications to institutions outside that list are unavailable for recruitment.

Third, and most commonly overlooked: your own country's recognition list. For professional degrees this is decisive. Medical councils in India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Malaysia and elsewhere maintain their own lists of recognised foreign medical schools, and several require a qualifying examination. Engineering regulators, bar associations and accountancy bodies may have similar rules.

A practical check for a specific programme is to ask the department directly, in writing: is this programme on the Ministry of Education list, what language are the examinations delivered in, and what is written on the degree certificate.

Las cifras de matrícula, plazos y estipendios se revisan cada ciclo. Confirma siempre la situación actual con la oficina de estudiantes internacionales de la universidad y en el portal oficial campuschina.org antes de solicitar.
