让申请者白白浪费一整年的那些申请错误
材料漏交、考试时机错位、项目未核实,构成了多数失败申请的主因——而这些都可以避免。
Reviewing a scholarship cycle, the recurring causes of failure are administrative rather than academic. The most common are: applying for CSC without the required pre-admission letter from a target university; sitting CSCA too late or not at all; a police clearance certificate that arrives after the deadline; and an unauthenticated or untranslated diploma.
A second category of failure relates to programme choice: applying for a major the university does not actually offer, or applying for a Chinese-taught programme without the required HSK level, or inputting a programme duration that does not match the actual programme.
The third category is timing. The CSC portal opening in November and the embassy deadline in February leave only about three months for a process that requires document authentication, medical examination and university pre-admission — all of which take longer than expected. The reliable rule is to start twelve months before the intended enrolment.
