Doble título y universidades sino-extranjeras: conseguir un título de EE. UU., Reino Unido o Europa en China
A growing number of Chinese universities award a partner institution's degree alongside the Chinese one. Here is what exists.

The main models
Cooperative institutes inside a Chinese university: the University of Michigan–Shanghai Jiao Tong University Joint Institute, the Zhejiang University–University of Edinburgh Institute (biomedical sciences) and the ZJU–UIUC Institute of Engineering, the SJTU Paris Elite Institute of Technology. Students are registered at the Chinese university and receive either a dual degree or a partner degree depending on the structure.
Independent Sino-foreign universities: Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University in Suzhou and Duke Kunshan University in Kunshan, both of which teach entirely in English and award foreign degrees directly.
Why they are worth considering
The foreign degree is the main draw, but the other advantages are real: teaching in English throughout, smaller classes, Western-style assessment including continuous coursework, and access to exchange semesters at the partner institution.
Cost is substantially lower than studying in the US or UK for the same award, though higher than a standard Chinese programme — often CNY 60,000–100,000 per year.
What to check
Confirm exactly which degree you receive and from which institution, whether you must spend time abroad, whether the partner university's accreditation covers the China-based programme, and whether the programme appears on the Chinese Ministry of Education's approval list for cooperative programmes. Ask for the graduation certificate sample.
